Keep Your Binocular Close with Steiner's Clic-Loc Harness

MOORESTOWN, N.J.

Whether an outdoor person's life revolves around birding, hunting or hiking, it is of the utmost importance to have a good binocular close at hand. This is easily accomplished with Steiner's new shoulder harness and its exclusive Clic-Loc system.

The shoulder harness system has long been a favorite among binocular users who may tote binoculars for several hours at a time with the need to bring them into use at a moments notice. The elastic straps crisscross the user's upper back and more evenly distribute the weight of the binocular, in turn helping to reduce shoulder strain that may at times be experienced with conventional neck straps after prolonged use. Another advantage is that the binocular is held firm against the chest, eliminating any swinging, bouncing or undue movement of the binocular while the user hikes, climbs up steep terrain, or walks through brush.

Attachment of the harness system is made possible by the Clic-Loc system. The Clic-Loc system allows the harness to be quickly and securely attached to most Steiner binoculars with just the insertion of the specially constructed strap end into a carefully designed port. With a noticeable and indexed "click," a user will know the binocular is firmly secured, then with the push of a button the Clic-Loc can be disengaged allowing the user to re-attach the binocular's original strap.

The Clic-Loc harness system comes in two versions, offering stability and comfort for nearly all binoculars in Steiner's product line:

For those who spend a considerable amount of time on the water, it is imperative to protect their Steiner binocular from loss to the depths. Though all marine series binoculars easily withstand the harshest elements (even submersion), dropping a binocular to an unrecoverable depth has been a potential problem that until now has been under no one's control. To help with this, Steiner offers a floatable Clic-Loc strap that quickly attaches to its Commander marine and Nighthunter XP models.

The bright yellow floating strap readily holds the binocular on the surface until it can be retrieved. Attachment of a floating strap will definitely provide peace of mind to the user whenever on the water.
